Five Key Pain Areas This Training Program Addresses
- Unclear Managerial Roles
Managers are promoted into leadership positions without fully understanding their responsibilities, resulting in weak planning, delegation, communication, and accountability. - Low Self and Team Awareness
Managers may not understand their own strengths and blind spots or appreciate different working styles, leading to misunderstandings and ineffective teamwork. - Poor Alignment and Communication
Teams and departments may work towards different priorities because organizational goals, expectations, and responsibilities are not clearly communicated. - Departmental Silos and Internal Conflict
Departments focus on protecting their own interests rather than collaborating, creating friction, duplication of work, and unnecessary organizational fighting. - Unclear Organizational Culture
Inconsistent leadership behaviours send mixed signals about what the organization values, resulting in confusion, low trust, weaker collaboration, and reduced productivity.
The Role of a Manager – Program Overview
Inspired by the discipline, unity, and leadership principles of the Roman Legion, R.O.M.A.N. is a practical leadership and organizational development programme that equips managers with the mindset and capabilities to build high-performing teams and organizations. Rather than teaching leadership as a set of theories, the programme challenges participants to examine their own leadership practices, align on shared principles, and develop actionable commitments that improve collaboration and organizational effectiveness.
Designed as a highly conversational and self-directed learning experience, participants learn from one another through facilitated discussions, workplace case studies, reflective exercises, team activities, and action planning. At the end of each module, participants agree on practical behaviours and commitments that can be immediately applied within their teams.
