“I’m a rebel! – and I’m damn proud of it” – Interview with IDENTI3 Ambassador – Beatrice Boots

𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘩 𝘮𝘺, 𝘪𝘵 𝘵𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘮𝘦 𝘢 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵 𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧.

With a background in photography, writing and documentary making, I always knew I was foremost an artist. But it was IDENTI3, a fabulous Personal Profiling tool introduced to me by my fabulous mentor Usha Raman, that helped me understand my character much more fully. 

One of the aspects that comes with the tool is an apt description of one’s type. I’m 100% an artist which is only 7% of the population. Artists are creative, curious, flexible and adaptive. They enjoy exploring the unknown. 

Artists don’t like structure, conformity and especially rules. This might annoy the hell out of people around us, especially those who are trying to hire us.

Luckily [for others and me, ha ha], I’m also 100% an Expositor which means I’m expressive and persuasive. I’m good at presenting and teaching, hence my background in teaching and my passion for coaching. 

I’m 75% networker: I’m outgoing, approachable and friendly. I can be everyone’s good friend. This is only partially true, hence I score 75% and not 100%, which makes the test results very accurate in my view.

Then listen to this: people might be drawn to you, you’re somehow eclectic, right? But you might hide who you truly are because you’ve been hurt. This is because creatives often are highly sensitive too, or even empaths. You feel what others feel. Like me, you might have a highly developed sense of intuition and read between the lines?

Over the years I’ve learned that when my intuition tells me someone isn’t the right fit, I can say no even when they enjoy my company and want to be my friend. People generally want to be in my company as I’m positive and encouraging, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴, 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘤𝘬 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘦.

With your empathic nature, you need boundaries and spend time around your tribe, people who understand you and love you for who you are. With an overwhelm of feeling things, it’s important to learn what’s yours and what’s someone else’s to carry. In the IDENTI3 profiling test this comes back through being mid-way between introvert and extrovert. You might seem very outgoing, but you also need plenty of ‘alone-time’, right?

This has been a journey, and it hasn’t always been easy, however, I just love life. 

And when I love someone, I’ll give them my all.

The type report gives IDENTI3 that next level and deeper understanding than many other personal profiling tests, it gives you a very apt description of your types. Showing someone he is a Perfectionist or a Craftsman is not to put someone in a box. 

It just gives you a deeper level of how the 16 character traits make up all of the compartments of who you are. 

It’s all about stopping to compare yourself with others, and only compare yourself with YOU. It’s about knowing yourself better and doing better within the parameters that work for you.
